Twenty-two students took degrees or completed their programs at SHST at the seminary's May 2 spring commencement.

Not pictured are Fr. Philip Schumaker of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee and Fr. Mark Reid of the Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown, who completed their master of arts degrees; and George Noel of the Dioceses of Crookston, and Arthur Torres Barona, who completed their master of divinity degrees.
With the exception of Soliz-Chavez, who received a master of arts degree, and Fathers Schumaker and Reid, the graduates will be ordained to the priesthood in their respective dioceses and religious communities in the coming weeks, and will begin serving in parish ministry across the United States and Canada shortly thereafter.
Also at the ceremony, the status of professor emeritus was conferred on C. Christian Rich, who served on the faculty since 1978. Rich retired director of liturgy and music, and assistant professor of pastoral studies.
